Refund Policy

1. Overview

Active Recalling offers a Pro subscription plan that provides unlimited access to all features. All payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, who handles billing, refunds, and payment-related customer support on our behalf.

2. Refund Eligibility

You may request a refund under the following circumstances:

  • Within 7 days of purchase — If you are not satisfied with the Pro subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase or renewal.
  • Service unavailability — If the service experiences significant downtime or is unavailable for an extended period during your billing cycle.
  • Billing errors — If you were charged incorrectly or charged after cancellation.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:

  • Requests made more than 7 days after purchase or renewal.
  • Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle renewal.
  • Dissatisfaction with third-party services (e.g., OpenAI API quality or pricing).
  • Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms of Service.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at [email protected] with the following information:

  • Your account email address.
  • The date of the charge you are requesting a refund for.
  • The reason for your refund request.

5. Refund Processing

Refunds are processed through Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment method and financial institution.

Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the Dodo Payments customer portal accessible from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to have Pro access until then.

No partial refunds are provided for unused time remaining in the current billing period after cancellation.
